The Deep River and District Hospital Foundation, established in 2003, is a registered charity comprised of volunteers who raise public funds to financially support health care services at the Deep River and District Hospital. The money is used for funding DRDH medical equipment, education and facility improvements.
Mission Statement: The Foundation’s mission is to sustain and improve the high level of patient care at the Deep River and District Hospital through financial support for capital requirements.

The Deep River and District Hospital requires financial resources to continually maintain its facilities and services to meet the increasing demands of Communities. The Ministry of Health does not fund all our health care requirements, specifically, the replacement of capital equipment. As a result, our Hospital must look to the community for financial support to ensure that our staff have the best health care tools available.
All donations made to the Deep River and District Hospital Foundation are used to purchase and service diagnostic, medical and patient equipment, and maintain infrastructure at the Deep River and District Hospital.
You can be certain that any gift, large or small, will enhance the financial security of the Deep River and District Hospital, enabling it to handle today’s needs as well as plan for the future. Your gift will one day benefit yourself or a loved one.
Annual Donations: Include the Foundation on your list of regular charitable giving.
Memorial Giving: It’s a thoughtful way to honour a deceased friend or loved one. Indicate your wish to provide memorial gifts to the Deep River and District Hospital Foundation to the Funeral Director, and details will be looked after for you. Families will be notified when a gift is given.
Planned Giving: Planned giving broadens the options for donors to give to the Deep River and District Hospital Foundation. Contact us for more information on our Planned Giving Program. Options include bequest by will, gifts of life insurance, gifts of real estate, and special trust or annuities.
Circle of Giving Club: The DRDH Foundation Circle of Giving Club is a special group of individuals who commit to making a gift each month to help provide the tools necessary for very best level of care for hospital patients in their communities.
