THE DIABETES CENTRE

At the Diabetes Centre we are here to help you manage your diabetes as well as assisting with the management of pre-diabetes.  We welcome both individuals who have diabetes as well as those who have people with diabetes in their care.

We offer both classes & individual appointments with the Nurse & Dietitian Diabetes Educator.  A physician’s referral is not necessary to attend the diabetes center!

Please take the time to learn how to control your diabetes & how to live a healthy life.

We offer both group classes & individual nutrition counseling by a Registered Dietitian for a variety of nutritional problems including high cholesterol, high blood pressure, unplanned weight loss, food allergies & intolerances.

Please note: We do not offer individual counseling for weight loss.

WHO CAN ATTEND

Anyone is welcome to attend classes or individual appointments whether you have a family doctor, belong to a family health team or don’t have a doctor at all!

HOW TO REGISTER

Please register at least 1 week in advance of the class.

To register either for a class or a follow up visit with either the Diabetes Team or Dietitian, please contact the number below.  Please leave a message with your name, phone number & the class you are interested in.
