Physiotherapy
The Deep River
and District Physiotherapy Centre offers clinical care in a small town
environment. The Centre was redesigned and relocated in 1997, and is very
bright , spacious and well-equipped. The Centre maintains a clinical
affiliation with the University of Ottawa and offers clinical placements
for physiotherapy students.
Hours of Operation Monday to
Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm Friday, 8:00 am to noon
Appointments: Out-patients
may access the services of the Deep River
and District Physiotherapy Centre without a referral by a medical
doctor.
Waiting
time for a first outpatient appointment: 1– 2 weeks
Services Offered:
- Detailed clinical assessments and treatment plans.
- Manual therapy techniques to increase joint motion.
- Development and progression of exercise programs.
- Neurological rehabilitation (i.e. strokes).

etc)
