Welcome to the Deep River and District Hospital website. The exercise of accessing and obtaining healthcare services can be intimidating and difficult. We want to provide you with timely and accurate information that will assist you in making wise healthcare decisions and facilitate interaction with our organization and staff. We hope that you will find the information on our site to be a useful tool to help you learn about us. We would appreciate receiving any feedback that you would like to share with us.

We strive to be the preferred healthcare provider for residents of and visitors to North Renfrew. Patients can receive a wide variety of services at the DRDH ranging from emergency medicine to long-term care, from our contemporary laboratory and diagnostic imaging services to physiotherapy and nutrition counselling. When patients need services or care that is unavailable at the DRDH, we have relationships with other hospitals and physicians that allow for ease of access and referral to higher levels of care. We are particularly proud to be members of the Eastern Ontario Telehealth Network and the Eastern Ontario Regional Laboratory. Formal affiliations with the Children’s Hospital of Eastern Ontario and the University of Ottawa Heart Institute have also proven to be beneficial to the members of the community that we serve.

Since 1974, the DRDH has been delivering healthcare that is convenient, personal, and readily accessible. Over the years, countless residents and tourists have benefited from the services we offer.
