Duties:
- Work closely with Project Lead(s) to provide
project management support including monitoring of project schedules and
working with team members in preparation of reports and documentation.
- Assist with project management and
implementation.
- Coordinate implementation of initiatives,
directives and special projects.
- Organize schedule and track multiple projects
and timelines.
- Assess project output against quality control
standards.
- Assist team members in production of
presentations and reports.
- Track, collect and report information on
project activities, progress, outcomes and milestones.
- Evaluate and escalate project problems
related to scope.
- Coordinate, prepare agendas/minutes and
follow up on action items for internal and external meetings.
- Assist with communication with consultants,
clients, construction, marketing team and other project stakeholders.
- Other duties may be assigned and may not be
limited to the scope of an individual department.
Qualifications:
- Post-secondary
education in Health or Social Sciences, Business Administration or acceptable combination
of equivalent experience required.
- Two
(2) years of relevant experience in health care environment.
- Two
(2) to Three (3) years of experience in a project coordination role required.
- Understanding
of both clinical and administrative functions, workflows and processes within a
healthcare setting.
- Knowledge
of change management process, redesign of clinical and/or business process.
- Demonstrated
excellence in Microsoft Office products required.
- Maintain
staff and patient/resident confidentiality.
- Understanding
of principles of adult learning.
- Effective
communication and interpersonal skills with all levels of staff including
physicians, patient service leaders, Ministry representatives and other internal/external
client groups.
- Demonstrate
initiative, sound judgment and attention to detail.
- Excellent
verbal, written, facilitative and computer skills required.
- Exceptional
Attendance required.
- Adhere
to all policies and procedures.
- Must
agree to adhere to DRDH standards of behaviour.
- Support
and demonstrate the Mission, Vision and Values of Deep River and District
Hospital.
