Plans, directs and supervises all
personnel, programs and operations of the Nutrition and Food Services
Assists in preparation of annual
operating and capital budget.
Maintains appropriate level of
equipment, inventory of food supply and cleaning products for the Department.
Ensures maintenance of quality
standards in all aspects of operation.
Provides supervision, leadership
and direction to departmental staff.
Works with Manager of Operations,
Director of Care and Registered Dietitian in menu planning and in maintaining
operational standards identified by licensing bodies and public organizations.

member of the Canadian Society of Nutrition Management (CSNM) or Registered Dietitian
as per the Long-Term Care Homes Act, 2007 required.
