Meals & Nutrition Services

Meals are more than nourishment; they’re a meaningful part of daily life. We strive to offer a pleasurable, unhurried, and social dining experience where residents can enjoy nutritious food in the company of others.

Residents are served three wholesome meals daily (breakfast, lunch, and dinner) in our welcoming dining room, located just steps from resident rooms. Snacks are also offered mid-morning, mid-afternoon, and in the evening to help keep residents energized and comfortable throughout the day.

Our three-week menu cycle is based on Eating Well with Canada’s Food Guide and is designed to meet the diverse tastes and nutritional needs of our residents. We provide regular and therapeutic diets, as well as nutritional supplements and adaptive feeding devices to support independence and well-being. In addition to our regular menu, residents have access to an à la carte menu offering a variety of alternate choices to suit individual tastes. 

We recognize that food is deeply personal, and we celebrate this through special theme days that highlight holidays, seasonal events, and cultural cuisines. 

Menus are posted daily and in advance for the week, so residents and families can see what’s being served. A Registered Dietitian oversees the nutrition program to ensure each resident’s dietary needs are safely and appropriately met, with personalized nutrition care plans in place.

Whether enjoying a favourite comfort food or trying something new, dining at Four Seasons Lodge is designed to support both physical health and a sense of home.
