Deep River & District Health is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors that provides strategic leadership and oversight across all three sectors of the organization, including the Deep River & District Hospital, Four Seasons Lodge long-term care home, and the North Renfrew Family Health Team.
This integrated governance model helps ensure alignment across programs and services, supporting seamless, person-centred care for the communities we serve.
Sound governance is essential to the success and sustainability of our health campus. Through effective stewardship, accountability, and a focus on quality and safety, the Board plays a vital role in guiding the organization toward its purpose and vision.

The Board of Directors establishes standing and ad hoc committees to support its legislative, governance and oversight responsibilities. These committees are essential in carrying out detailed work, analyzing key issues, and making informed recommendations to the full Board. Through the work of its committees, the Board is able to maintain effective oversight and uphold its commitment to strong, accountable leadership in healthcare.
