Below is an overview of the care and services available to residents at Four Seasons Lodge, as well as optional services to enhance daily living.
Our nursing philosophy at Four Seasons Lodge focuses on maximizing each resident’s independence and quality of life. We recognize and support each individual’s strengths, helping residents maintain their autonomy while ensuring comfort and safety.
A team of compassionate care providers, including Registered Nurses (RNs), Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs), and Personal Support Workers (PSWs), are on-site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Together with residents and families, our nursing team works to assess, plan, and deliver personalized care that respects each individual’s values and lifestyle, including the following:
Medical care at Four Seasons Lodge is coordinated by an on-site physician team, with regular visits and 24/7 on-call coverage to meet our residents’ healthcare needs. Residents may also request to retain their family physician, provided the physician meets Ministry requirements and signs an agreement to provide care at the home.
If you wish to meet with the physician assigned to your care, arrangements can be made through the nursing team at any time.
We offer three nutritious meals daily, as well as snacks between meals and at bedtime. Our menus are thoughtfully co-designed with our residents to meet their dietary needs and preferences, including therapeutic diets and nutritional supplements.
Dining at Four Seasons Lodge is more than a meal; it’s an opportunity for social connection and enjoyment. Our team is available to assist residents during mealtimes as needed, and adaptive devices are provided to support independence.
Four Seasons Lodge offers a variety of social, recreational, and physical programs to promote wellness, engagement, and joy. Activities are tailored to residents’ interests and abilities, and include music, exercise, arts and crafts, games, outings, and more.
Physiotherapy services are available to support residents in maintaining or improving mobility and functional independence.
Our housekeeping team maintains clean, safe, and welcoming spaces for all residents. Rooms receive daily light cleaning and a weekly deep clean. Laundry services are provided seven days a week, including washing and drying of personal clothing and bedding.
We recommend residents bring about two weeks’ worth of washable, easy-to-wear clothing. All items must be labeled. New items can be labelled by our laundry team.
Our environmental services team ensures that the home is well-maintained, safe, and comfortable. All personal electrical items are inspected when residents move-in and annually thereafter. Preventative maintenance ensures that equipment is regularly serviced and functioning reliably.

For convenience, residents may open a trust account to manage personal spending without holding cash. These accounts can be used to pay for optional services such as the hair salon, foot care services, and more.
Monthly statements detail all transactions, and families can opt to pay for services by electronic funds transfer alongside the accommodation payment.
Please note: Residents are encouraged not to keep valuables in their rooms. Four Seasons Lodge is not responsible for lost or stolen items and does not insure personal belongings.

Our hair salon, barber, and dental hygiene services are located onsite and available routinely for cuts, styles, and treatments. Appointments can be arranged through our care team. Fees are paid through the resident’s trust account.
Television, telephone, and internet services are not currently provided in individual resident rooms. However, these services are available in shared common areas throughout the home.
If a resident wishes to have television, telephone, or internet services set up in their individual room, families may arrange this directly through an external service provider. Our team is happy to provide guidance or support during the setup process if needed.
Mail is delivered to resident home areas Monday – Friday. Outgoing mail can be left at reception or provided to nursing staff in the home. Newspaper subscriptions can be arranged directly with the publication and delivered to the home.
