DRDH HOLDS ANNUAL MEETING AND RELEASES 2025–2026 ANNUAL REPORT

Deep River and District Health (DRDH) welcomed Board members, community partners, physicians, and team members to its Annual Meeting, where the organization reflected on another year of meaningful progress and officially released its 2025–2026 Annual Report.

The report highlights the organization’s accomplishments over the past year and reflects on the progress made as DRDH moves beyond the halfway point of its 2023–2027 Strategic Plan. Guided by the strategic priorities of People, Growth, and Community, DRDH continued to strengthen healthcare services, invest in its workforce, advance major capital projects, and build meaningful partnerships that improve access to care across the region.

“This past year has been one of remarkable progress for our organization,” said Board Chair David Cox. “As we move beyond the halfway point of our Strategic Plan, we are seeing the impact of the collective efforts of our team members, physicians, volunteers, partners, and supporters. Together, we are building a stronger healthcare system for today and for future generations.”

Among the year’s highlights were continued construction of the new 96-bed Four Seasons Lodge Long-Term Care Home, completion of the new Family Health Team building, the announcement of plans to create a new three-bed hospice space in the current Four Seasons Lodge building, and continued investments in recruitment, staff development, and workplace culture.

“The accomplishments highlighted in this report represent the dedication and compassion of every member of the DRDH team,” said President and CEO Janna Hotson. “Whether caring for patients and residents, supporting each other, advancing major projects, or strengthening partnerships across our region, our people continue to demonstrate what it means to provide excellent, compassionate care every day.”

The Annual Report also provides an overview of organizational performance, patient and resident statistics, financial results, and the many contributions made by the DRDH Foundation, Auxiliary, volunteers, and community partners.

DRDH extends its sincere appreciation to everyone who contributed to another successful year and remains committed to working alongside its communities to ensure high-quality healthcare remains available close to home.
