Preschool Speech and Language Services
Deep River & District Health provides speech-language pathology services for preschool-aged children, including those in junior kindergarten, living in the Chalk River and Deep River area. Services are offered through a combination of virtual and in-person appointments to support flexibility and access.
These services are delivered through a partnership with Renfrew Victoria Hospital and are part of the First Words Renfrew County Preschool Speech and Language Program. With ongoing financial support from the Deep River & District Health Auxiliary, we’re able to continue offering local speech therapy services to young children in our community.
All referrals for preschool speech and language services are managed through the First Words Renfrew County office in Pembroke. Referrals can be made by parents or healthcare providers.
