Join the DRDH Foundation Board of Directors – Shape The Future of Healthcare In North Renfrew!

 

 The Deep River & District Health Foundation is now accepting applications for passionate individuals from the North Renfrew community to join our Board of Directors.

This is an exciting moment to get involved as the Foundation prepares to support the next transformative projects at Deep River & District Health, including facility upgrades and technological advancements. Joining the Foundation Board offers a meaningful opportunity to influence the health and well-being of our community by providing leadership and governance to support DRDH’s dedicated and effective fundraising team.

As a member of the DRDH Foundation Board, you’ll have the chance to:

  • Contribute to exciting new healthcare projects that strengthen our region.
  • Help shape the Foundation’s strategic plans and fundraising efforts.
  • Grow as a leader while working alongside other volunteers.
  • Learn more about philanthropy and fundraising.
  • Build professional connections and friendships.

What Does a DRDH Foundation Board Member Do?

  • Provide leadership, direction, and support for the Foundation’s mission of raising funds and fostering community engagement.
  • Collaborate on strategies to guide Foundation staff and volunteers in achieving fundraising goals.
  • Participate in regular meetings, events, and programs such as our annual golf tournament, curling bonspiel, Run For Home, or Polar Dip.

What We Are Looking For:

  • A strong connection to the DRDH catchment area, spanning Deux-Rivières to Pembroke.
  • Skills that may include (but are not limited to) fundraising, finance, event planning, grant writing, or governance
  • A willingness to attend Board and committee meetings (approx. 2 hours bimonthly) typically held during normal work hours.
  • A passion for community building.
