Duties: - Responsible for drug distribution in the hospital, including procurement, order entry, repackaging, labelling, dispensing, delivery, administrating, and charting.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures.
- Supports and demonstrates the mission, vision and values of Deep River and District Hospital.
- Other duties may be assigned and may not be limited to the scope of an individual department.
Qualifications: - Graduate of a Pharmacy Technician Program required.
- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the Ontario College of Pharmacists required.
- Two (2) years experience working as a Pharmacy Technician preferred.
- Experience working in a Hospital Pharmacy preferred.
- Experience with Epic an asset.
- Demonstrated excellent time management, organization, communication and interpersonal skills required.
- Computer literacy required.
- Experience with computerized pharmacy systems preferred.
- Exceptional Attendance required.
- Must agree to adhere to DRDH standards of behaviour.
