Duties:
- Performs reception and clerical
tasks to support the needs of the Nursing Department.
- Prepare and post staff schedules
meeting all scheduling requirements as per respective bargaining units.
- Provides for needs of clinical
environment through procurement of supplies and equipment, maintaining
appropriate inventory.
- Provide shift coverage on short-notice,
as circumstances require.
- Adheres to all policies and procedures.
- Supports and demonstrates the
mission, vision and values of the Organization.
- Other duties may be assigned and
may not be limited to the scope of an individual department.
Qualifications:
- Completion
of an Office Administration program or equivalent preferred.
- Experience
in a Healthcare Environment preferred.
- Recent
clerical experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Knowledge
of medical terminology preferred.
- Ability
to work independently with minimal supervision and co-ordinate tasks and duties
with team members required.
- Demonstrated
strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
required
- Advanced
computer skills (MS Office, Electronic scheduling, etc.) required.
- Exceptional
Attendance required.
- Must agree to adhere
to DRDH standards of behaviour.
